Adam Japko

President

Adam JapkoAdam led the development and roll out of DesignSherpa; the first turnkey social media, content, and Internet marketing management system for the local home-design industry. Now, as president of DigitalSherpa, he collaborates with his management team on ways to make Internet marketing simpler, more powerful, and easier to execute for small businesses. From 1999 to 2005, Adam was president and chief operating officer for Pennwell Corporation’s Advanced Technology Division and a member of the company’s board of directors. Beth Brinton

Client Program Director

Beth BrintonBeth has been managing staffing teams, content projects and designing workflows for well over a decade now, starting by streamlining the Corporate Manufacturing Department at American Greetings. At Penton Media, Inc., Beth oversaw the Reprints and Content Syndication departments, served as project director for the Custom Media group and as an online product development manager for the manufacturing vertical. Beth recently joined DigitalSherpa when her previous company, SocialTract, was acquired.

Marcus Eaton

Operations Director

Marcus EatonMarcus joined the DigitalSherpa team in April of 2010 with more than five years experience in online and social media marketing. As the director of operations, he focuses on building efficiencies that bring a higher quality product and delivery to all DigitalSherpa clients. Justin Fishaw

Director, Content Marketing & Social

Justin Fishaw

Joining the team in August of 2010, Justin develops and implements online marketing tactics and campaigns, writes and optimizes all website content, and manages all social media channels.  A native of Metro Detroit, Justin graduated from Madonna University where he attended on a soccer scholarship and studied marketing and entrepreneurialism. Keith Sauro

VP of Sales

Keith SauroKeith has spent the last 16 years in local media management, launching both online and offline local media brands, and has become DigitalSherpa’s poster boy for outside-the-box marketing and thinking. Working his current passion as national sales director of DigitalSherpa, he is responsible for business development, client communication, and support of DigitalSherpas 100+ person local sales force. Chris Vaughn

Director Of Marketing

Chris VaughnChris has served as Director of Marketing for DigitalSherpa since 2012. Chris directs and executes DigitalSherpa’s online marketing strategy, and is responsible for leading DigitalSherpa’s lead generation program and branding strategy. Chris drinks our company’s content marketing Kool Aid each day by providing content to help DigitalSherpa customers and prospects learn more about small business marketing.   Before DigitalSherpa, Chris was the Managing Editor at Bluff Media LLC after graduating from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2005 studying Marketing and Philosophy.

Diana Young

Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations, NCI

Diana YoungDiana Young brings significant financial and operational experience to DigitalSherpa from her post as Senior VP, Finance & Administration, at DigitalSherpa’s parent company, NCI. Diana’s keen financial acumen has helped the business secure the growth capital and manage its rapid expansion expediently and productively. Diana has spent the last 10 years working as senior financial partner to business operators in local media marketplaces. Diana’s keen understanding of the small business landscape and her versatility in operations combines with her financial chops to make her a key member of the business’ management team.

Rashan Beachem

Rashan BeachemOperations Coordinator

Rashan has been a vital part of the DigitalSherpa movement since February 2011. As the Operations Coordinator, he manages and orchestrates the diverse range of operations of the department. He not only manages and coaches his staff, but also handles all aspects which lead to the smooth daily operation of the department.

Working closely with staff and other departments allows him to problem solve quickly and efficiently. With his established relationships, he is able to direct each problem to its appropriate resource, tool or staff to ensure the most fruitful and fitting solution.  His style of management includes assigning, correcting, modifying and monitoring process, while allowing room for employees to exhibit their creativity while remaining fully responsible for the completion of their tasks.

Natasha Khairullah

Manager, Recruitment & Development

Natasha KhairullahAfter a seven-year run in print media, Natasha joined DigitalSherpa in January 2010 as one of the team’s original Content Managers. She then served as the Creative Director of Sherpa’s shelter verticals where she managed teams of writers and helped them to develop content strategies for a variety of small to medium-sized businesses within the design industry. Natasha currently manages all talent recruitment & development efforts for DigitalSherpa. She is a New Yorker transplanted to the Peach State by way of sunny Florida and in her free time, she can be found hanging out at a local farmers market or exploring the city of Atlanta. email hidden; JavaScript is required

Janet Okoben

Content Quality Manager

Janet OkobenJanet Okoben works with DigitalSherpa’s writers, editors, proofers and content publishers to provide engaging, search-optimized content to our clients. This may mean conducting a brainstorming session to come up with content ideas, spreading the word about SEO best practices or coming up with a style rule about the proper use of a particular word. She helped develop a streamlined process for content production while she was content director for SocialTract, a blogging service that was acquired by DigitalSherpa in 2012. Her favorite word is inchoate; her least favorite word is utilize. When she’s not looking at a computer, she can often be found looking for more Diet Coke.

Julie Watson

Intake Coordinator

Julie WatsonJulie Watson has been with Digital Sherpa since it started in 2009. She was instrumental with onboarding new Sherpa clients and getting them acclimated to the program. She was quickly promoted into the account manager supervisor role to oversee and manage a team of experienced writers. Akin WilliamsAkin Williams Akin joined NCI in 2010 as a WordPress developer and graphic designer. He is largely involved in front- and back-end theme development, multi-site blog implementations, upgrades and plugin development for the Sherpa brands.
